Terms and conditions

Article 1. Applicability and definitions

These terms and conditions apply to all quotes, agreements and runs that CuraTrans BV (hereinafter: CuraTrans) carries out for its clients. Client means: the party that books a run with CuraTrans. Shipment means: the goods that CuraTrans transports. Direct run means: a run in which the shipment is transported directly from the collection address to the delivery address, in the same vehicle.

Article 2. Quote and rate

CuraTrans charges a rate of €1.25 per kilometre. For payment in advance, a discount of 10% on the invoice amount applies. If payment is not made in advance, a payment term of 8 days net from the invoice date applies. For urgent runs, where CuraTrans guarantees to collect the shipment within 1 hour, a surcharge applies. The amount of this surcharge is agreed in advance per request and stated on the quote.

Article 3. Execution of the run

CuraTrans carries out runs as direct runs, where the shipment stays in the same vehicle. The vehicle (VW Caddy) has room for a shipment of up to 2 euro pallets and a maximum of 500 kg in total. If a shipment does not fit within this capacity or weight, CuraTrans will contact you in advance to discuss feasibility. CuraTrans is available for bookings 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. For a regular booking, CuraTrans aims for same-day collection, without guarantee. For an urgent booking, collection of the shipment within 1 hour is guaranteed.

Article 4. Liability and insurance

Every shipment CuraTrans transports is insured. For transport within the Netherlands, the liability of CuraTrans is limited in accordance with the Algemene Vervoerscondities (AVC), the standard conditions within the Dutch transport sector. For cross-border transport, the CMR Convention (Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road) applies: this is the common international standard for road transport and applies by default to international runs from the Netherlands. CuraTrans provides no guarantees beyond these frameworks.

Article 5. Cancellation and changes

A booking can be cancelled or changed free of charge up to [term to follow] before the scheduled collection time. For later cancellation, CuraTrans may charge (part of) the agreed price. Changes to the collection or delivery address should be reported as soon as possible by phone or WhatsApp.

Complaints about the execution of a run can be submitted via info@curatrans.nl or by phone via +31 85 085 1923. CuraTrans aims to respond within [term to follow].
