Care deliveries that cannot wait until tomorrow
For pharmacies, laboratories, medical device suppliers, home care, dental labs and care facilities, we drive non-refrigerated same day deliveries straight to the patient, the ward or the care site, with no depot in between, across the Netherlands. We keep you informed on the way, so the ward knows when the shipment arrives. You pay €1.25 per loaded kilometre, with a minimum of €45 per run, plus a surcharge for urgent jobs. You hear the price before we drive.
A time you can pass on
After pickup you get a link with the status and the expected delivery time. You can pass that time on to the patient, the carer or the ward.
Handed to the right person
The driver calls before arriving and hands over to the person you name. If nobody is there, we consult you and take the shipment back rather than leaving it behind.
Honest about refrigeration
Our cargo space is enclosed and dry, without temperature control. If something must stay cold, we tell you upfront, so you can find the right carrier straight away.
Know what a medical run costs: two example runs
The run price is loaded kilometres times €1.25, at least €45 per run. For urgent jobs a surcharge comes on top, which you hear upfront. So you can plan a delivery with no surprise afterwards.
Nijmegen to Utrecht
From supplier to care facility: 77 km × €1.25 = €96.25 run price.
Venlo to Eindhoven
From pharmacy to care home: 57 km × €1.25 = €71.25 run price.

For urgent jobs we collect within 1 hour around Arnhem, Nijmegen and Venlo, in the Achterhoek and the Lower Rhine around Kleve, Wesel and Duisburg, firmly committed, and elsewhere as soon as possible, for a surcharge you hear upfront. Otherwise the same day, without a fixed time.
Discreet on the way
Enclosed cargo space and handover only to the person you name. The driver notes the name and time.

You tell us what needs to go
What it is, where it is ready, and where and to whom it must be handed over. If it is urgent, say so.
Price upfront
You hear the price based on the loaded kilometres, plus the urgency surcharge if it is urgent. We drive only once you agree.
Collection
The driver collects the shipment from the pharmacy, the supplier or the lab and secures it in the enclosed cargo space.
Trackable on the way
You get a link with the status and the expected delivery time, which you can pass on to the patient or the ward.

The driver hands over to the agreed person or ward and notes the name and time. For fixed routes we agree this once; after that every run is one message.
What does a medical courier run cost?
Within the Netherlands and Germany you pay from €1.25 per loaded kilometre, meaning the distance between the pickup and delivery address, with a minimum of €45 per run. A run of 100 loaded kilometres comes to €125 excluding VAT. We do not charge the empty return. For runs to other countries you get a fixed price for the whole run upfront, including tolls, vignettes and any crossing. The price is fixed before we drive.
For urgent jobs a surcharge applies, which you hear upfront.
For pharmacies and suppliers with regular runs, we are happy to agree a fixed arrangement per route, so you do not have to calculate each time.
Within the Netherlands and Germany, at least €45 per run. To other countries: fixed price including tolls and any crossing. You hear the price before we drive.

Prices exclude VAT. Not included in the price: customs charges and import duties on runs outside the EU, and exceptional waiting time at loading or unloading. If that applies to your run, you hear upfront how we charge it.
What fits in the van?
- Enclosed, dry cargo space of 160 x 117 x 110 cm (length x width x height).
- Up to about 500 kg, or 1 euro pallet.
- Is your shipment larger? Then we use a larger van. Send the dimensions with your request, so we know which van fits.
What do we carry and what not?
- Yes: medical devices such as wheelchairs, orthoses and dressings, equipment, non-refrigerated medicines in sealed packaging, dental work and records.
- No: refrigerated or frozen medicines, blood and tissue products, lab samples with temperature requirements, or dangerous goods (ADR).
- Not sure whether something may travel unrefrigerated? Ask the pharmacist or manufacturer. We only carry what may travel without a cold chain.

Do you also carry refrigerated medicines?
No. Our van has no temperature control. We do not carry medicines that must stay refrigerated or frozen, blood products or samples with a cold chain. For everything that may travel unrefrigerated, we are there 7 days a week.

How quickly can you deliver a medical device?

Are you also a laboratory courier?
Yes, for shipments to and from laboratories that need no refrigeration: equipment, consumables, dental work and records. We do not carry samples with temperature requirements or samples classed as dangerous goods (ADR). We also tell you that straight away with your request.
Do you run fixed routes for pharmacies?
Yes. For pharmacies and suppliers with recurring deliveries we agree once how it works: pickup time, handover point, who signs. After that every run is one message. We run fixed routes across the Netherlands, for example around Arnhem, Nijmegen and Utrecht.
Is the shipment insured and handled discreetly?
The shipment travels in an enclosed cargo space and the driver hands it only to the agreed person. CuraTrans is insured with Interpolis for carrier's liability, with a sum insured of €600,000. By law that liability is limited per kilogram, unless a value is declared upfront. If it is expensive equipment, state the value in your request. We then agree before the run how it is covered.
