Care logistics without waiting for the parcel service
In healthcare, timing is everything. A wheelchair, an infusion pump, an orthosis, a bag of medication for a care home: the parcel service delivers tomorrow between nine and five, and that is often too late or too uncertain. CuraTrans collects as soon as it is ready and drives it straight to where it is needed.
We drive for pharmacies, medical device suppliers, home care organisations, dental laboratories and care facilities in Gelderland, Overijssel, the Achterhoek and across the border in North Rhine-Westphalia. One driver, one run, one point of contact.
What we deliberately do not do: refrigerated or frozen transport. Our van has an enclosed, dry cargo space without temperature control. For medicines that require cooling, blood products or samples with a cold chain we are not the right partner, and we say so upfront.
For everything that may travel non-refrigerated, you get what care needs: a fixed price upfront, a driver who calls before arriving, and a tracking link on which the receiving location sees when the delivery arrives.

Collected within 1 hour, with guarantee and surcharge. Otherwise same day, without guarantee.

How a medical delivery works

Request
Tell us what it is, where it is ready and where and to whom it must be handed over. For recurring deliveries we agree a fixed protocol.

Price upfront
You hear the transport price based on the loaded distance, plus the urgency surcharge if it has to be within the hour.

Collect and hand over
The driver collects, drives straight through and hands over to the agreed person or ward, with name and time in the confirmation.
Rate
Rate on request, based on €1.25 per kilometre.
- Lowest price guarantee: 10% below your quote
- 1 euro pallet, maximum 500 kg
- Pay in advance: 10% discount
- Otherwise: payment within 8 days net
Prices exclude VAT. We confirm the final price with your request.
What does a medical courier run cost?
The price is the loaded distance times the kilometre rate, with a minimum price per run. For urgent jobs a surcharge is added that you hear upfront. The van's return leg is not charged.
For pharmacies and suppliers with regular runs we are happy to agree a fixed arrangement per route, so you do not have to calculate every time.
What do we carry and what not?
- Yes: medical devices (wheelchairs, beds in parts, orthoses, dressings), equipment, non-refrigerated medicines in sealed packaging, dental work, records.
- Up to 500 kg and 1 euro pallet, cargo space 160 × 115 × 100 cm.
- No: refrigerated or frozen medicines, blood and tissue products, laboratory samples with temperature requirements, dangerous goods (ADR).
- Not sure whether something may travel non-refrigerated? Ask the pharmacist or manufacturer; we only carry what is allowed without a cold chain.

Do you also transport refrigerated medicines?
No. Our van has no temperature control. Medicines that must stay chilled or frozen, blood products and samples with a cold chain we do not carry. For everything that may travel non-refrigerated, we are there 7 days a week.
Can a delivery be handed over directly at the patient's home?
Yes. The driver calls before arrival and hands over to the person you name. If nobody is home, we consult you and take the shipment back rather than leaving it.
How quickly can you deliver a device?
For urgent jobs we collect within 1 hour, with guarantee and surcharge, and drive straight through. For a normal request we aim to deliver the same day, without guarantee.
Do you drive fixed routes for pharmacies?
Yes. For pharmacies and suppliers with recurring deliveries we agree the protocol once: pickup time, handover point, who signs. After that, every run is one message.
Is the shipment insured and transported discreetly?
Yes. The shipment is insured during the run and travels in an enclosed cargo space as the only shipment. The driver hands over to the agreed person and records name and time.
